General Information
Amara Spa etiquette is to kindly arrive twenty minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We
understand that being late is sometimes unavoidable; however, tardiness may cause us to shorten or
reschedule your service. In order to ensure the highest quality sensory experience, we request that all
of our guests refrain from wearing fragrances. Due to the high quality of essential oils used in our
treatments, please inform us if you are pregnant. Spa services and use of our Aromatherapy steam
room are available to guests 16 years or older.
Appointments
Appointments are available seven days a week, Monday thru Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday 9am-
6pm. Our operating hours are subject to seasonal change. Appointments for services will be reserved
with a credit card. Spa appointments may be made at the Spa Front Desk or by dialing Ext 388 or 389
from your in-room telephone.
Spa Attire
Spa robes, slippers and private lockers are issued upon your arrival for use while in the Spa. You are
more than welcome to arrive in the Spa wearing the robe provided in your room. We encourage you to
refrain from bringing or wearing jewelry into the Spa. We regret that we cannot be responsible for
personal articles.
Cancellations
If you must reschedule or cancel any Spa service, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. These
notices are required to avoid being charged 50% of the full amount of any treatment, service or
package not received. We strictly adhere to the Spa cancellation policy as a courtesy to other
guests and our therapists' time.
Cell Phones
We ask that all guests refrain from cell phone usage, and request that mobile phones be silenced
when in the spa and lounge areas.
Refunds
Unopened products may be exchanged within 15 days of purchase with a valid receipt. We cannot
exchange opened products.
Gift Certificates
Amara Resort and Spa Gift Certificates are perfect for any occasion and are available in any
denomination, giving you the freedom to choose the specific service and/or products you desire
from our complete spa services menu.
Spa at Home
To continue your Spa regimen at home, all Elemis spa products used in treatments and services are
available for purchase. You are welcome to purchase products at the spa desk and we will ship to you
anywhere in the world. Shipping charges will apply.
Spa Cuisine
Enjoy healthy selections from our a la carte menu while you relax in Amara Spa. Each dish is crafted
by our Award Winning Executive Chef Ivan Flowers as a healthy, lighter fare combining unique world
flavors to complement the feeling of our unique spa.
