Ski Sedona

Although Sedona is often thought of as having a sunny, warm climate, the idea of skiing near the desert of Sedona Arizona is not an oxymoron. Within an easy 30 to 40 minute drive you'll reach Flagstaff, Arizona and Arizona Snowbowl ski mountain nestled within the San Francisco Peaks. At base elevation of 9,200 feet Flagstaff's mountains receives an average snowfall of over 200 inches per year. Ski lessons, rentals and a retail shop are available at the ski areas.

Arizona Snowbowl

Did you know, Arizona Snowbowl is the oldest continually operated ski area in the United States? Arizona Snowbowl has five lifts and 32 runs with a variety of terrain for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.

Flagstaff Nordic Center

If cross country skiing is more your style the Flagstaff Nordic Center is just 6.3 miles from Sedona. The Nordic center has over 25 miles of trails that wind through the typical terrain.
