Our Sedona Art Gallery Recommendations
Some of the best artists in the world have lived and worked in Sedona, AZ. Sedona Area Guild of Artists (SAGA) is a professional visual artists organization working with the art community to archive some of the exceptional artists who have lived here in the past. Such diverse artists include internationally acclaimed surrealist-painter Max Ernst and Sedona’s own Joe Beeler, who helped initiate the Cowboy Artists of America in a little bar half a block from The Amara Resort and Spa.
SAGA strives to push the bar of quality for the visual arts in Sedona. These local artists provide all the artwork for the Amara Resort, and we are thrilled to serve as their contemporary art gallery for our visitors.

Sedona Museums
The Heritage Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a Sedona museum all about the local area. The Museum is situated in the City of Sedona’s Jordan Historical Park, where you can take the short nature trail, enjoy the flower gardens, and wander through the remaining orchard around the buildings to the picnic areas.
The Collection of the Sedona Heritage Museum currently includes over 3,000 artifacts, 30,000 historic photographs, 300 oral history and video tapes, and a research library of books, clippings, and documents numbering around 500 volumes.
